What order should i play the stalker games
Stalker: shadow of chernobyl – test / preview (gameplay
It makes no difference in which order you play them. The “default,” as Rabbit stated above, is the order in which they were created, but this is not needed. Each game stands alone; the story of CoP is unrelated to the other two, and the story ties in CS and SoC are small, so it doesn’t really matter. Try them all out to see which one appeals to you the most and go with that. The most popular complaint among new players is complexity, so start with the one that appears to be more manageable.
I’m not sure why people ask such simple questions! Play the games in the order that they were published. I’ve clocked up thousands of hours and played each game vanilla and with different mods, but the only way to play is in order of release date because I’m a STALKER fanboy (I openly confess to this because it is without a doubt one of the greatest games (Made for PC) ever made) and the only way to play is in order of release date. Stalker, good luck with your hunt.
Play in the order in which they were issued.
SOCCSCOPAs the games evolved, new features were introduced that you would miss if you played COP first and then SOC.
To get the best out of all three games, play them in the order they were released.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a survival horror first-person shooter series produced by GSC Game World in Ukraine. THQ in 2007, Deep Silver in 2008, and BitComposer Entertainment in 2010 were the three editors who released the collection.
The games’ history and some terminology (“The Zone,” “Stalker”) are based on Arkady and Boris Strugatsky’s popular science fiction novella Roadside Picnic and Andrei Tarkovsky’s 1979 film Stalker, as well as Stalker, a novel based on an early draft for Tarkovsky’s film.
The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are mostly survival horror shooters, but they also include elements of role-playing games and business simulations. There is a non-linear plot in the games, as well as various optional goals. The game’s setting is made up of numerous areas surrounding the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, including abandoned towns, labs, and old factories, among other things.

More dynamic scene behavior and other activity methods are expected to be established in terms of game playability.
