Bittorrent seeding uploading stop permanently

I still have to manually lower my upload speed while downloading because it cripples my downloads; I’d rather get the whole file(s) without sharing when downloading and then have the seeds set themselves to 4mbps upload speed when the downloads aren’t going. I’m not sure how to do this in the settings. In an ideal world, when uploading, all sharing should be disabled. Set upload speed to 100kbps while I’m at my PC and not downloading. Set upload speed to 4mbps when AFK (15 minute timer) and not downloading. I’m not sure if Vuze can say when I’ve been idle for a while, but if it can’t, the latter solution will still be useful. 12 answers 30 percentsavehidereportsavehidereportsavehidereportsa Voted up This discussion has been ended. BitTorrent (abbreviated to BT) is a peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) communication protocol that allows users to share data and electronic files across the Internet in a decentralized manner.
BitTorrent is a common protocol for sharing large files, such as digital video files with TV shows and video clips, or digital audio files with songs. As of February 2009[update], P2P networks were projected to account for approximately 43 percent to 70 percent of Internet traffic, depending on venue. [2] BitTorrent was responsible for 3.35 percent of all global bandwidth in February 2013, accounting for more than half of the 6% of total bandwidth dedicated to file sharing. [3] In 2019, BitTorrent was the most used file-sharing protocol, accounting for 2.46 percent of downstream traffic and 27.58 percent of upstream traffic on the Internet. [4] The protocol was developed by Bram Cohen, a University at Buffalo alumnus[7], in April 2001, and the first version was released on July 2, 2001. [8] The most recent version was introduced in 2017 as of June 2020[update]. [1] BitTorrent clients, including an official client released by BitTorrent, Inc., are available for a number of computing platforms and operating systems.

This tutorial will teach you how to speed up downloads in Vuze, a freeware bittorrent client. To achieve the fastest download speeds, all bittorrent programs require that their incoming and outgoing communications flow freely, which is basically what this guide is about.
This guide was created using information found on the forums, guides, and FAQs of bittorrent program developers. There are no hidden tricks here; only the fundamentals of how to properly set up a bittorrent program. The download speed should improve if you follow these easy measures.
There are a few programs that claim to improve Vuze’s speed. These programs are typically a scam and contain adware or spyware. Nothing will improve your download speed in a bittorrent client more than the simple steps outlined here, according to the creators of all bittorrent programs.
The test will show the TCP and UDP ports that have already been selected for Vuze (they should be the same, but they don’t have to be). You are not expected to change to the port depicted in the photos. By pressing the Test button, you can test both TCP and UDP. This image contains the TCP result, which you should see OK.
