How to setup an ipsec site-to-vpn with pfsense

To connect your remote network to a VPC, you use a Site-to-Site VPN connection. Each Site-to-Site VPN link has two tunnels, each with its own public IP address for the virtual private gateway. It’s important to set up both tunnels for redundancy. Network traffic is automatically redirected to the available tunnel when one becomes inaccessible (for example, due to maintenance).
An IPsec tunnel can be edited. To open the Edit VPN Tunnel tab, select an IPsec tunnel and then select Edit. In the Edit VPN Tunnel tab, make the following changes. To save your changes, select the checkmark icon after each section you’ve edited. Select OK until you’ve finished making all of your changes.

Since it’s bad practice to use failover groups on both sides of a VPN tube, the dashboard displays a red VPN icon on the side that doesn’t have a failover community. For example, if one side has two WAN connections and the other only has one, two failover tunnels are formed.
It would be cool if we could still group these different tunnels to the same site so that the VPN icon doesn’t turn red as long as one is online. Perhaps we could add both sides to a failover party, but disable failover on the disconnect site.
