The following is a list of major Internet service providers in the United States. These companies provide internet access through DSL, copper, fixed wireless, cable internet, and fiber optics. Prices and availability are subject to change and differ by region.
Comcast’s Xfinity brand includes cable TV, internet, telecommunications, and wireless services for consumers. Comcast is one of the biggest cable companies in the United States, with channels available in 40 states to both residential and business customers. Around 58 million homes and businesses have access to Xfinity’s gigabit internet. Xfinity provides download speeds ranging from 25 to 2,000 megabits per second. Plans start at $24.99 per month for the first month. For slightly higher monthly rates, Xfinity also provides no-contract plans.
AT&T Internet serves 21 states with high-speed Internet. AT&T Internet offers fiber and fixed wireless internet in addition to DSL broadband. When combined with other AT&T products, Internet plans start at $39.99 a month with download speeds up to 940 Mbps.
CenturyLink provides internet access in all 50 states, with DSL coverage available to around 50 million people. About ten million people have access to CenturyLink’s fiber internet. The price-for-life deal from CenturyLink is particularly appealing. Plans start at $49 per month and offer speeds of up to 100 Mbps. The monthly cost of the 940 Mbps fiber plan is $65 per month.

In addition to a simpler product range, our Partner Program is receiving inquiries from businesses that would not necessarily match the Virtual ISP (VISP) model and are attempting to enter the market. In most cases, these new inquiries are motivated by a company seeking to add value to their client base by using telecoms as an enabler for a product or service, or simply as a means of providing general access to their customers.
The Network Union is repositioning itself to meet this demand by assisting both ‘traditional IT firms’ and any organization seeking to diversify their revenue streams through telecoms. Consider a PoS (Point of Sale) business whose primary source of income is the sale of hardware.
Customers are usually instructed to purchase their own Copper, Fiber, or Internet leased line. In this case, incorporating telecoms is an ideal way to increase overall profitability. Creating a VISP model to complement a managed IT provider, where the primary capability which revolve around Managed IT services, Cloud, or Security, is gaining traction.

A Virtual ISP (VISP) buys services from another ISP (sometimes referred to as a wholesale ISP or something similar in this context) that allow the VISP’s customers to connect to the Internet via one or more wholesale ISP-owned and controlled Points of Presence (PoPs).
Digital ISPs may range from a conventional ISP purchasing access points from a third party to a completely white label service in which the VISP’s branding is built to give the impression that it is an ISP in its own right.
Virtual ISPs can be delivered in a variety of ways. A wholesale ISP, for example, might provide network access to end users through dial-up modem PoPs or DSLAMs installed in telephone exchanges, and then route, transfer, and/or tunnel the traffic to the VISP’s network, where it could be routed to its destination.
