One of the country’s largest corporations, which specializes in helping other businesses with data breaches, has now announced that they, too, have experienced a data breach, this one involving 1.5 million company customers. “Verizon Enterprise Solutions recently discovered and patched a security flaw on our enterprise client portal,” a company spokesperson said in a formal statement. An intruder stole simple contact details on a number of our enterprise customers, according to our investigation so far.”
The company went on to state that no confidential information or other sensitive data was obtained, and that those who were affected are being contacted now. Furthermore, no data belonging to customer clients was exposed or placed at risk as a result of this violation.
