Utorrent downloaded files disappear
How to fix utorrent downloading problem (easy and quick
Hi there, Today I upgraded to 1.6.4: incredibly cool: I’m not sure whether this is a function or a bug, but all downloaded torrents vanish from the list. I wanted to seed something to increase my ratio, but when I reopened the torrent file, a window appeared asking me to add trackers to the same torrent that should already be on the list (quite usual when the torrent file is still there). Regardless of what I did, nothing happened. Downloaded files are on my HDD in the normal folder, and torrent files are on my HDD as well. What’s the deal with this funk?
It’s now fixed. For a 5-year consumer, I was a moron. You’re not the only one who thinks this way. lmao Switch from “Downloading” to “All” in the view menu -> Display sidebar, and all torrents, including completed ones, should appear. Thank you so much.
Fix : tasks deleted from bitcomet
Good day, forum! This isn’t the first time anything like this has occurred. I had a torrent task on my Bitcomet for completed and uncompleted torrents, but after I restarted my computer yesterday, some settings on my computer changed unexpectedly without me doing anything, for example, my tasklist has vanished on my Bitcomet, and I have no idea how to get it back and resume my downloads.
I have some torrent files on my computer, but I typically use the “open” option before downloading a torrent, so I’m not sure if all of my torrent files have been saved, and I’m not sure if all of my torrents are in one place. Also, I’m not sure where they are… this is a popular problem associated with Bitcomet’s inappropriate shutdown. To properly shut down, always press “file” then “exit bitcomet,” but thankfully, bitcomet saves up to 10 sequential backups of your “downloads.xml” file. Its exact position depends on your Windows version and user account settings, but it’s most likely in your percent appdata percent folder (copy ” percent appdata percent ” to the address bar of any folder, then search for the bitcomet folder).

How to restore missing (disappear) torrents in utorrent
I’ve been using uTorrent for a long time and was recently delighted to find that I had 24GB free. I assumed it was because I had removed some unused software, but after a while, I discovered my Torrents folder had vanished (I had saved completed torrents in my Downloads/Torrents folder).
This morning, I discovered that my Torrent folder had vanished once again! This prompted me to assume that my torrent files were being erased by something. I’m not sure, but I have a feeling it’s either uTorrent (which I just upgraded) or something else entirely. This is becoming increasingly irritating, so I’m hoping for some assistance.
My only guess is that pressing CMD + W (on a Mac running OSX Lion) closes the window and deletes the torrents? I’m downloading files again right now, and I’ll try to log what I do tomorrow so that I can contribute more to this discussion.
