Storytime: how i became ~tumblr famous~

Tumblr is attracting fashion blogs, designers, and brands. Moves by the microblogging platform earlier this year to highlight the similarities between the photo-rich site and the world of fashion seem to have paid off.
I began working as a press officer for Yoox, an Italian online fashion boutique, in 2004. Not everybody knew how digital media could be used in the fashion industry in the mid-noughties, when the industry was still suffering from the impact of the dot-com crash.
Bloggers are seated in the front row of shows alongside fashion editors and movie stars, and online fashion retailers like Asos and Net-a-Porter are trailblazers. Conde Nast’s Style.com is as popular, if not more so, than famous brands such as Vogue.
The official Tumblr of McQ, Alexander McQueen’s contemporary line, provides perspectives and updates on the brand. Most importantly, it does not simply regurgitate material. McQ’s spring/summer 2011 campaign was launched earlier this year via a series of entries on the brand’s Tumblr blog. Inventive!
This bearded photographer photographs fashionable people dressed in their own clothing. It’s a wonderful alternative to all of the street-fashion websites that are all too goddamn urban. GQ, Nylon, Vogue, and Elle, among others, seem to agree.

Tumblr fashion blogs are extremely popular. Since I first discovered Tumblr, I’ve been obsessed with them! Tommy Ton, Oscar PR Girl, and Oh So Coco, to name a few, are some of the most well-known fashion blogs on the web. My favorites, on the other hand, are the lesser-known fashion blogs on Tumblr. What is the reason for this? Since those are the ones that define each blogger’s unique style, and to me, that makes things a little more interesting! So here are the top 7 undiscovered Tumblr fashion blogs that I absolutely adore!
My favorite Tumblr fashion blogs often reveal more than just lovely clothes; they also show a lovely way of life. It’s not just about making a good appearance on the outside. It’s all about living a life that you enjoy; one that is safe, happy, and emotionally fulfilling. This blog is so serene and soothing that just reading it makes my mind spin with daydreams of a perfect summer evening. The blogger tends to be a fashionista in her own right, and she never hesitates to answer questions about her personal style. So drop by for a while; you’ll easily get lost in this blog!

lost-in-the-struggle-deactivate posed the following question: On Sunday, I’ll be going to the state fair with a boy, and I’m not sure what to wear. My style is more laid-back grunge, and I’d like to stop wearing jeans because it’ll be hot and humid. In addition, I do not wear skirts or caps. Are you aware of my predicament? chuckle Do you have some shorts on you? I believe you can pull off your look without wearing jeans. I’d go for a tank top with a choker or cool necklaces combined with jean shorts and vans (converse, boots, etc.). Please contact me again if you have any additional questions.

Bloggers are supplementing blogs on conventional sites such as Blogger and WordPress with Tumblr microblogs, which have an easy-to-use interface, a forum that supports high-resolution photos, and a built-in community that shares content frequently. Fashion is represented by around 180 of the top 1,000 Tumblr sites, and fashion-related Tumblr posts are reblogged on a far larger scale than general Tumblr posts, making them far more likely to go viral. As a result, a Tumblr microblog has a good chance of driving a lot of traffic to your Blogger, WordPress, or self-hosted site.
