I used to use azur because of its features, but I could never game smoothly when running it at the same time; utorrent is clearly superior. I assume it all boils down to BLOODY JAVA!

I’ve seen a few threads in the past where torrents were stopped at 99 percent due to corruption caused by firewalls, most commonly Zonealarm (and other misconfigured firewalls to be fare). Try turning off your firewall for a few torrents if you have one (preferably use Sygate or other firewalls that are known not to cause issues with P2P torrents). It’s likely that your issue is unrelated, but it’s just a thought.

Fix & speed up dead torrent | resolve torrent shows

I’m having the same issue with utorrent. The transfers come to a halt at 99.8%. And when there are a lot of outlets (like 2,000+ seeds), this happens. My sharing ratio is generally outstanding – I usually share more than I download. My guess is that these seeds are fake, and that they’re being used to sabotage our bittorrent and prevent us from downloading quickly. Well, whatever. What’s my solution? I simply move to a different torrent and proceed.
You might also choose to ignore it because it’s likely that you still have the file but that parts of the directory on the other hand have changed. For eg, the thumbs.db file was modified at the source, so you won’t be able to get it. 1% of the overall file size I suggest that you run the file to see if it works before canceling the download. You may also run an integrity check on the ISO and compare MD5 amounts if they are usable. However, in the vast majority of cases, attempting the first alternative would solve the problem.
You can pause a download in utorrent, right-click it, and choose Force Recheck, then resume it.

How to fix utorrent not responding [windows 10]

This is not a BitComet problem. There are a variety of reasons why a torrent fails to finish and becomes stuck in this manner, but all of these issues are triggered by your system/hardware or the torrent’s health, not by BitComet.
I’m not going to write a few dozen paragraphs detailing every potential cause of this issue for someone who doesn’t care to provide the basic details needed for us to post only the most likely causes, but you can learn more about it by visiting the FAQs, as one of our staff members suggested.

How to fix utorrent connecting to peers problem while

Force rechecking does not work; I have to pause the download, close and reopen qbittorrent, and restart the torrent; even then, the 0.1 percent takes 10+ minutes to complete. This was also the case until I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10. On the same PC, this does not happen under my Windows partition.
The torrent appears to stall at near-complete until the neighboring files are also selected/downloaded when the files I’ve selected share blocks with other files I haven’t. I’m guessing the shared block won’t be identified as needed until all of the files it spans have been tagged for download. Of course, the rule should be to download any block that contains any part of any chosen file.
