Como instalar dd-wrt no tp-link wdr-4300 firmware

If you can’t get wireless to work by using wide channel modes, it’s likely that the friendly neighbor “feature” is preventing you from doing so, and you’ll have to turn to regular modes to get wireless to work.
(If a serial console is open, it’s a good idea to do dry runs by ad-hoc RAM booting a factory prior to actual flashing.)
bin from a TFTP host server, served by WDR3600’s default 6F01A8C0.img filename via uboot “tftp” + “bootm”).
Switch on your router. As the ‘SYS’ light (asterisk symbol to the right of the power light) begins to blink, quickly press the WPS/Reset button on the router’s back-left for a few seconds (>1 sec). The ‘SYS’ light should now begin to flash rapidly.
The above instructions did not work well on a TL-WDR4300 Ver 1.6 with Barrier Breaker Bleeding Edge, r39211. The only way I could get the router into failsafe mode was to click the WPS/Reset button quickly and repeatedly until the front panel “star” LED started blinking. When that LED eventually turned on, it seemed to go straight to the “failsafe” indicator, which blinked rapidly. If the WPS LED lights up (rightmost, “yin-yang arrows”), you might have pressed the button too soon during the boot sequence.

Dd-wrt removal back to stock firmware on tp-link n750

Hi there,

Simple usb disk network sharing using dd-wrt tp-link

I have a question. I bought a new router yesterday and flashed the latest version of dd-wrt on it when I got home. Everything works well and it’s an excellent router, but the speeds when using openvpn are really sluggish. I’m getting 13mbit (up and down) over various ports (UDP and TCP), and I’m using a server (different ones) in the Netherlands. I’ve experimented with the Ciphers, but when I use the client, nothing changes (on a windows machine im getting 70mbit on the same server). Is there a way to increase the pace, or is it simply the router’s capacity? Thank you very much in advance! edit:After some investigation, it appears that the router’s CPU is the bottleneck. When using openvpn, it’s at 100 percent (and downloading something). Unfortunately, I assumed that a router like this would be adequate, but I was mistaken.

Since I’ve tried deleting the bootloader from the original firmware, but it doesn’t help. Until now, I’ve reconnected every router via TFPT, regardless of whether it had a bootloader or not.
All is very speculative here, Jupp. The TS should definitely keep a log. Alternatively, try an ssh sysupgrade of one of the other sysupgrade-openwrt-images and see what comes up as an error message.
If the correct Stock FW is incorrectly identified via TFTP, there will be an entry in the TFT Server Log (alternatively, with Wirehshark/TCPDump) indicating the expected Dateiname.

The biggest disadvantage of DD-WRT is that it is less stable than commercial releases. There are far fewer features in consumer applications that can go wrong. The upside is that if you have the expertise, you can patch the code yourself, or the forums can assist you.
When choosing a router to load dd-wrt, the only differences you’ll notice are the CPU and its speed, the radio chips, and items like memory and antenna count. On the dd-wrt site, there are large tables of this type of information. Stuff like this can only be valued by you. Some people, for example, need more memory to run other software programs, while others would simply use it as a router.
