This summer, instead of just using technology, learn how to build and master it. Tech Em’s instructors teach students at all levels the essential STEM-related skills needed in the twenty-first century through project-based camps that teach coding, 3D printing, software design, and system building. Tech Em helps students appreciate the fascinating and changing relationship between technology and art by emphasizing art in technology. All camps are taught by an IT specialist who tailors the camp experience for children aged 7 to 17 years old based on their age and level of experience (no experience necessary).
Summer camps at Tech Em Studios — where youth, computers, and imagination collide — still have spots open. If you have any questions, call 804-476-0278, or go to techemstudios.com to learn more and register.
Make your own web page! Build a virtual environment, start a blog, share your passions and photos–create a web application that you can share on the internet. You’ll learn HTML, CSS, a server-side web platform, and how to use a database to take complete control of your online presence.

CST Studio Suite contains electromagnetic field solvers for applications around the electromagnetic spectrum in a single user interface. Engineers may use the solvers together to perform hybrid simulations, allowing them to quickly and easily test entire systems made up of multiple components. Co-designing with other SIMULIA products integrates EM simulation into the design flow and drives the development process from the start.
The performance and efficiency of antennas and filters, electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI), human sensitivity to EM fields, electro-mechanical effects in motors and generators, and thermal effects in high-power devices are all common subjects of EM research.
CST Studio Suite is used by some of the world’s most prestigious technology and engineering firms. It has significant product-to-market benefits, allowing for faster production cycles and lower costs. Digital prototyping is possible thanks to simulation. Early in the design process, possible compliance problems can be detected and mitigated, the number of physical prototypes needed can be reduced, and the likelihood of test failures and recalls can be reduced.
