How to fix people not getting picture messages from your

We recently moved from Verizon to T Mobile as our cell phone provider. I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 while on Verizon, which I took to T Mobile. I haven’t been able to send or receive pictures or videos via text message since we switched. When we returned to the T Mobile store, they informed me that Verizon will have to unlock my phone; however, when I called Verizon, they informed me that they do not lock any phones (both in person and on the phone with customer support). In the end, I’m caught between two networks and want to be able to use my phone to its maximum potential. Are you in need of assistance?
@sheleysa, hello there.
Have you checked in with your son to see if the measures were successful on his phone? You may want to try setting up a new APN as suggested by @heretohelp. Please notify us. Thank you so much!
Thank you all for your help, but sadly resetting the APN did not work. The only difference between the instructions and what we found when we reset the APN was that there was no “MMS Protocol:” to set (it was supposed to be set to “WAP 2.0”). Aside from that, everything was spot on. If you have any other ideas?

Why can’t you send or receive picture message on your

If you miss sending updates in a group chat, make sure you haven’t left the conversation. Tap on the community message in Messages. You either left the conversation or were deleted from the community message if you see a message that says you left the conversation. Only if anyone in the community adds you will you rejoin a group post.
You can’t get a message back because you’ve deleted it. Take a screenshot of a post if you want to save portions of it. Touch and hold an attachment in a message to save it, then press More, then Save.

Many people, including myself, come to this site for support and to help others. When those with similar problems start to scan the web for help, marking a reply as helpful or right helps them. I am not affiliated with Tmobile, and all of my ideas and thoughts are my own.

How to send and receive picture messages (fix) on any

My first suggestion is to go to the APN tab, click the three dots in the upper right corner, and choose Reset to Normal. Restart your computer and run some tests. If this doesn’t fit, try a different APN. Since your current APN is already configured with T-default Mo’s settings, build a new APN with the desired settings, but set the MMS Port to 80. Select Save from the three dots in the upper right corner. Try setting your new APN as the norm, then reboot and evaluate. Please keep me updated on your progress!
Thank you so much for sharing your preferences! Would you mind telling me who your previous phone provider was? We may need to add a new APN because you don’t seem to have the ability to make any adjustments to the APN; however, I’d like to know if there are any device/carrier specific settings that need to be changed.
