How to stop automatic open bit torrent on windows startup

I got the BitTorrent app on my phone. The application is now open every time I start my macbook pro (running 10.6.8), and I have to physically shut it down. I’ve tried closing it in various ways, but the problem persists. It’s not a massive burden, but it’s certainly unusual. Is there any advice about how to avoid this?
BitTorrent is set to start up automatically by default.
Simply open BitTorrent, go to BitTorrent menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences, and uncheck the option to open BitTorrent at startup.

How to disable bittorrent on startup windows

Hello there. On Windows 10, I use Bittorrent (Ad-Free). It’s set to not start when Windows begins, but it still runs when Windows starts up anyway. I searched in many places for external startup orders (i.e., Windows startup folders, run keys in the registry, etc.). I have Glary Utilities and have used its “Startup Products” tool, but there are no Bittorrent references in it. I’m stumped as to how Bittorrent gets started. I’ve posted in Bittorrent’s help forum, but have yet to receive a comment. How to stop utorrent from autostart on windows 10 startup

If anyone wants to connect a torrent or magnet when Torrent (or BitTorrent) is running, they will receive a notification that Torrent (or BitTorrent) is already running. (This is valid even if the exe’s name is changed as mentioned above.)
A combination of modifier keys (Ctrl, Shift, or Alt) and the key (numbers, letters, or function keys) is used to set a Boss-Key. Alt is used by default. If you check the Boss-Key box and then press Q, the Boss-Key will be Alt-Q. If you want to use Shift or Ctrl, you must press both the key and the number/letter at the same time after ticking the Boss-Key box. When you’re done, press OK.
If you also want to lock other users out of Torrent, you can set a BossKey password just below the BossKey option (see image above). When BossKey is allowed and a password is set, Torrent will be locked to those who do not have a password.
If Torrent is hidden, it will take a password to open it. If Torrent is not secret, it will not need a password to use it, so users will not be locked out unless Torrent is hidden. As a result, I’m not sure how much cover this provides.

How to turn off seeding (disable upload) after downloading

BitTorrent (abbreviated to BT) is a peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) communication protocol that allows users to share data and electronic files across the Internet in a decentralized manner.
BitTorrent is a common protocol for sharing large files, such as digital video files with TV shows and video clips, or digital audio files with songs. As of February 2009[update], P2P networks were projected to account for approximately 43 percent to 70 percent of Internet traffic, depending on region. [2] BitTorrent was responsible for 3.35 percent of all global bandwidth in February 2013, accounting for more than half of the 6% of total bandwidth devoted to file sharing. [3] In 2019, BitTorrent was the most common file-sharing protocol, accounting for 2.46 percent of downstream traffic and 27.58 percent of upstream traffic on the Internet. [4] The protocol was developed by Bram Cohen, a University at Buffalo alumnus[7], in April 2001, and the first version was released on July 2, 2001. [8] The most recent version was introduced in 2017 as of June 2020[update]. [1] BitTorrent clients, including an official client released by BitTorrent, Inc., are available for a number of computing platforms and operating systems.
