Spotify memory leak

Spotify memory leak

Atrium carceri – memory leak

I just finished building a computer with an I7 4.2GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM, SSD hard drives, and everything else. Since installation, whenever you try to do something on your machine, it hops and crackles as though it’s running out of resources; this shouldn’t be the case with the level of computer I have. This is stupid, paying for premium and your client is terrible; I will have to use Google’s service instead, as my friend with the same spec computer has no problems running that and any of his other programs.

Tears for fears – head over heels (official music video

I’ve had memory leaks for the past 2/3 weeks, ever since the last Windows update, at first thought it was “antimalware service executable” and then some audio software, but after googling it turned out to be spotify, it seems to be random, so I tried a few things.
Random programs have taken up too much memory, even causing high CPU consumption, as we’ve noticed. We invite you to use the Feedback Hub to report your problem. You have the option of voting on a current topic or creating a new one. When you turn it off,
Edit: I’m trying to figure out how to get Windows Insider to work so I can roll back updates, but when I click register, it says I’m already registered on the website, then tells me to click “get started” and asks me to register again, while clicking “get help” just brings up a blank page.
Thank you for the details. When a third-party antivirus program is installing or working, this may happen. Try temporarily disabling some third-party antivirus software and re-evaluating your PC’s results.
Updated on September 19, 2017 It appears to be getting worse; I left the PC on the other day with nothing running, booted it up, went afk to watch TV, and returned to find the memory use at 80%. Googling “how to fix windows 10 memory use” just gives me a bunch of nonsense about how I should try to fix it.

Looking at kde plasma 5.12 lts changes

When I returned, the Spotify window was totally black, with no content. Furthermore, nothing worked any longer (so it seemed). When I moved the mouse, the cursor only moved in small increments. I was able to minimize some windows to see Conky, and both my 4GB memory and the 8GB swap were absolutely full.
Guys, Plasma 5.12.5 is working perfectly on both of my laptops. I’m not aware of any memory leaks, and one of them is still online and running more than 18 hours after the most recent Plasma update. Maybe it’s related to the Spotify app. In this same laptop, I’ll install Spotify and give it a try. (I do not, however, use a wallpaper slideshow.) Using Falkon (which is always open) and Cantata + Ksysguard, my RAM use is currently 650MB (out of 4GB RAM).
If you don’t use it, the memory levels will stay the same no matter how long the machine is on. The error is in the slideshow software, which does not release the previous files, resulting in memory and swap being fully filled.
