How to make tixati client stop seeding & download queued

There are a lot of parameters in Network -> Link, and I’m not sure which one to modify for my needs. Previous versions operated well with default settings, but regardless of whether I chose default or adjust the settings, it isn’t as fast as it used to be.
And no, it has nothing to do with the torrent or the internet connection. My entire bandwidth is restricted, and I’m using seedbox to download torrents with a large number of seeders. I used to be able to use all of my bandwidth with such torrents in previous versions, but now I’m unable to download at full capacity.

The instructions below are intended to act as a general guide for all users. Since internet connection speeds and latency differ so much, you should feel free to play around with the settings before you find what works best for you.
There are several online speed tests available, but some of them can only tell you your incoming speed and not your outgoing speed. http://speedtest.net has one that shows both incoming and outgoing traffic, and http://www.dslreports.com/stest has another good one.
We trigger the ‘Maximum’ checkbox in the lower (outgoing) region, type 56 into the box underneath, and press ENTER, as shown by the green arrow, once we’ve switched to the Bandwidth view.
When you’re doing a lot of transfers, you may want to play with different throttle settings to see what works best. If you set it too low, your downloading rate will suffer as a result of other peers’ inability to reciprocate. If you set it too high, your Cable/DSL modem can become clogged, slowing down your download speed. If the bandwidth chart is jagged, as seen on the left side of the above picture, it is typically too high.

TCP connections are limited to a maximum of 10 in Windows XP Service Pack 2. This will slow down your download speed because you won’t be able to link to as many peers as you’d like. It’s supposed to slow down viruses because their spread technique is to bind to a large number of IP addresses, but it might make torrent downloads unusable.
A third point worth remembering is that some “windows updates” revert your tweaked tcp connections to 10. So it’s a good idea to double-check this now and then. You can verify this by going to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer > System… (in Windows XP). Look for the 4226 case (sort by event).
To use these suggestions, you must first determine your maximum upload and download speeds. Here’s a link to a bandwidth test (stop all download activity while testing). Also, make sure you’ve followed the recommendations in our previous blogs.
There is a distinction between kb/s (kilobits per second) and kB/s (kilobytes per second). kB/s is equal to kb/s divided by 8. We’ll be using kB/s in this tutorial (like most torrent clients do). If the speedtest only gives you results in kbs, you can need to measure your maximum speed in kB/s yourself (so divide by 8 then).
