Rumors about Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy J7 Duo are gaining traction. The system has been in the news a few times in the last week or so, but we haven’t seen it before today. The first look at Samsung’s upcoming entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy J7 Duo, has appeared online in the form of a design render.
The J7 Duo retains the conventional display with thick bezels and a 16:9 aspect ratio, despite being an entry-level product. The computer has a physical home button and two navigation buttons on the front. The majority of phones this year tend to be camera-centric, and the upcoming J7 Duo is no exception, with a selfie camera and dual LED flashlight.
The J7 Duo manual was recently leaked, suggesting that the system would support Bixby AI Assistant. Since the Bixby Assistant is currently only available on the company’s flagships and upper mid-range series, it will be the company’s first entry-level smartphone with the function. The J7 Duo, unlike the top-tier models, will not have a dedicated button.
According to what we’ve learned so far, the J7 Duo will have a 5.0-inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel HD screen resolution. The computer will be powered by an Exynos 7885 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable native storage. The 13MP+5MP dual rear cameras will be used. In terms of availability, the system is scheduled to be released later this spring. We should expect more details about the Galaxy J7 Duo in the coming weeks, given that the announcement is only a few months away. Keep an eye out for updates.
