Reddit hacked cameras
The oculus quest 2 has been hacked
A major security breach has occurred at Verkada, a Silicon Valley security startup that offers cloud-based security camera services. According to Bloomberg, hackers gained access to over 150,000 cameras at the company, including those at Tesla factories and warehouses, Cloudflare offices, Equinox gyms, hospitals, prisons, schools, police stations, and Verkada’s own offices.
The hack was intended to demonstrate how ubiquitous the company’s surveillance cameras are and how quickly they can be exploited, according to Tillie Kottmann, one of the founders of the multinational hacker group that breached the device. In addition to the live streams, the group claimed to have access to all of Verkada’s customers’ video archives.
“We have disabled all internal administrator accounts to prevent any unauthorized access,” a Verkada representative told Bloomberg. The size and complexity of this possible problem are being investigated by our internal security team and an outside security firm.” Verkada lost access to both the company’s live feeds and archives as a result of Bloomberg’s order.

Cyberpunk 2077 – how hacking works
On Netflix, I was watching a show called “Money Heist.” Officers were able to hack and allow the front and rear facing cameras to take pictures of the bad guys in one scene. Normally, I’d chalk this up to movie hacking magic, but after learning about Air Gap hacking, which uses a regular HDD mechanical arm to transmit data, I changed my mind. In the right conditions, I think there are less limitations to what I believe is possible. 32 commentssharesavehidereport71 percent Upvoted https://www.wired.com/2016/06/clever-attack-uses-sound-computers-fan-steal-data/ This discussion has been ended. Hacker breaks down 26 hacking scenes from movies & tv
As they become more comfortable with technology, my grandparents enlist my help as “tech support.” They’d heard of hacking cameras and microphones (along with other cyber security threats), but I’m not sure how this is done or how simple it is. I’m sure many users will profit from a better understanding of the threats and how to avoid them on our internet-connected devices. Also, how can a user on a compromised computer be detected and what would need to be done to protect the device if a preventative approach doesn’t help? a total of 6 comments 69 percent upvoted by sharesavehidereport This discussion has been ended.
