However, I’ve had the issue for the past two days with my Windows 10 Rechner (OpenVPN Client) not getting an IP address after connecting. Although Open-VPN indicates that the link is “verbunden,” the TAP-Adapter receives no IP address.
Please download and install the client in the most recent version of the UTM. I’ve noticed a few times that after a UTM update, the old client no longer works with the FW.

Even after changing the adapter name to a different value and changing the IP address method to Automatic, the TAP v9 interface installed reverted to the name “TunnelTap” with static IP “10.3.0.1.” (DHCP).
However, we found that the TAP adapter would sometimes revert to the static IP of “10.3.0.1” even after a good connection, requiring us to change it back to Automatic.
Nordvpn connectivity troubleshooting on windows 10
I’m trying to find out what’s up because I’m having trouble connecting to a VPN most of the time. FrootVPN on the OpenVPN protocol is what I’m using. To set it up, I followed this guide. I have not made any changes to the router settings since it is completely run by software on my machine (running Windows 7 64 bit). I’ve been using it for around 4 or 5 days and it seemed to work well at first. Then it took two or three attempts to connect, and now it won’t connect the vast majority of the time. I Still run as the administrator. I disabled my antivirus/firewall today, and it now connects, but my IP address remains the same.

24 July 2018 I’m trying to get split tunneling to work with OpenVPN by following this tutorial: Over OpenVPN, a transmission daemon I’m running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Server and I’m having trouble getting openvpn to start transmitting. The connection to OpenVPN is perfect, but there is a note.
