Planet of heroes – developer diary #2

I’d like to learn how we can alter the COP and UN systems and processes throughout this trip. They must stick to the Paris Agreement and provide the political basis for the demand for a secure road to a just world society on a living planet that has not warmed by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius.
On the one hand, I’ll be following the Swiss and Swedish delegations (having lived in both countries and having a “spy” in at least one of the delegations), and on the other, all my friends and co-rebels from FridaysForFuture and ExtinctionRebellion, sponsored by several small NGOs such as “klimataktion” in Sweden. How can the rules be altered?
The countryside of Sweden. Some fantasies are surfacing of all delegations receiving government mandates to truly reform global rules: banning new carbon infrastructure, assisting with green grids, financing the just transition, reforming and democratizing the financial and economic framework… It’s a pop. This journal is full of vibrant, hand-drawn art and prompts that empower people of all ages to learn about the world’s ecosystems, consider how their carbon footprint affects the Earth, and come up with ways to make meaningful changes for the environment. It is based on Rachel Ignotofsky’s beautiful and insightful book The Wondrous Workings of Planet Earth. Rachel’s art is stylized, singular, and entertaining, with bright colors and fascinating detail, and she has a special talent for visually communicating scientific knowledge. The journal begins with a brief infographic reference segment that discusses how our earth works and how we can help save it, followed by fun writing and drawing prompts and inspirational quotes about nature. This journal is an exciting, immersive way for nature lovers ages ten and up to appreciate the world we live in.
