How to fix mozilla thunderbird email slow loading

Thunderbird is a full-featured, stable, and dependable email client from Mozilla. Users also reported that Thunderbird seems to freeze and refuses to start up, despite the fact that it appears to be working. The error message is normally returned by Thunderbird “Thunderbird is already open, but it does not respond. You must either close the current Thunderbird process or restart your computer to open a new window.” When you close Thunderbird, you’ll frequently get the following error: “It is not possible to load your Thunderbird profile. It’s possible that it’s missing or unavailable.”
Thunderbird refuses to start and shows an error message about an existing Thunderbird process because it assumes your profile is already in use. A stale profile lock that was left after Thunderbird crashed might be the culprit. This suggests that Thunderbird did not properly close or clean up temporary files. Thunderbird is puzzled, frozen, and unable to open due to additional processes running in the background.

[fixed] firefox is already running but is not responding error

It has always been an issue on all of these operating systems, for example. I’ll be typing an e-mail when it unexpectedly freezes and I can’t write, then it “comes alive” 10 or 20 seconds later and I can type again. When I look at the task manager during these moments, the CPU spikes to 100%, and the responsible mechanism is Thunderbird.
The same thing happened to me. I discovered that the problem was caused by my signature picture. It was on my office server, and it causes TB to hang when I try to send mail from home. All is working now that I transferred the picture to my laptop! 🙂
Process Monitor is a powerful Windows monitoring tool that displays file system, registry, and process/thread operation in real time. Process Monitor can become a key tool in your device troubleshooting and malware hunting toolkit thanks to its specific set of capabilities.

Someone is actively working on imap problems, so it’s likely that this will be resolved in the newest update, 63.0b1. If you discover it isn’t set, please report it here. Notice that some add-ons might not function in version 63; check the release notes for more details.
I’m running version 64.0b1 32 bits on a Dell Inspiron 17, 5000 series laptop, and I’m still having issues with Thunderbird freezing when I touch something. It doesn’t happen every day, but about 10 to 20 times a day.
Would I lose all of my addresses, files, and other data if I return to the standard version? Is it impossible to carry out? Either I go back to the standard version or I change programs; the beta is filled with the same bugs that have plagued it for years, and many of the basic features are broken.
I’ve been having the same problems for a few months and with the most recent versions. Thunderbid freezes / ceases responding on a regular basis. Linux Mint is currently running version 60.4.0. It freezes for a few seconds at times and for more than a minute at other times. I tried removing all add-ons, but it didn’t help. Please let me know what I should do if anyone knows how to fix this. Thank you so much!

Can someone assist me because my cat sat on my keyboard while I was working on my emails in Thunderbird. It seems that this then opened a number of emails, causing the computer to crash. I’ve tried refreshing the machine and uninstalling and reinstalling several times, but it still loads the same. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I couldn’t open the ‘Help’ > ‘Troubleshooting Details’ in Thunderbird because everything was frozen :(. But I’ve figured out the issue now, though it’s probably a little more involved than your solution. I had to locate and transfer the profile files before reinstalling and resetting my emails. This solved the problem, and I didn’t lose any emails as a result.
