Mobile data toggle lollipop
Android lollipop : how to enable or disable accessibility
All of the data toggle widgets and applications on the Play Store seem to be disabled after the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. And, based on what we’ve seen so far, it appears that these apps will need root access to run on Android 5.0. It will be fascinating to see what developers come up with as a solution.
If you just need to toggle data via widgets, Android 5.0 Lollipop offers a better solution: you can toggle data directly from the Notification bar.
However, it will be a two-step procedure.
A screen will appear that shows your Cellular data consumption statistics. There will also be a toggle button next to “Cellular info” in the upper right corner. Toggle data On/Off on your Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone by touching the Toggle button or the “Cellular data” text itself.
If you have a Samsung or LG unit, the notification bar might be different. And, on devices from these manufacturers, you’ll already have the toggles in place, just as you do on your KitKat-based firmware.
For those of us who still want to turn data on/off with a widget, there’s an app on the Play Store that works with Android 5.0 but needs root access. You can download it from the Google Play store using the link below. The software is paid on the Play Store, but the developer was kind enough to provide us with the.apk file for free.

You can also place this internet data toggle on the homescreen as a widget. So, instead of going through Setting > Data Use over and over, you can simply tap on the widget to turn on and off your internet data.
The good news is that there is a workaround for this issue that effectively brings this functionality back to life on Android Lollipop. You can use this fast internet data toggle even if your Android device is running on Lollipop.
This is why I’m so excited to show you how to re-enable the fast internet data toggle on your Lollipop-powered smartphone, so you don’t have to go through Setting > Data Use every time you want to turn on or off your device’s internet data.
The first trick I’d like to share with you is actually very difficult to execute. But, once you’ve finished setting it up on your mobile, I believe you’ll be able to enjoy the quick and easy access to your internet data on your smartphone or tablet.
How to reduce mobile data usage on an android lollipop
In Android 5.0 Lollipop, you can switch on and off mobile data from the lock screen. When I leave my phone on the desk for a brief period of time while I am nearby, someone (perhaps a child) can turn on mobile data, which can cause problems. If background data is allowed in my settings and someone turns on the data, for example, there could be a lot of charges. If I’m downloading something in the background, it could be disrupted if someone turns off the info. Any ideas, tips, or tricks for resolving this?
