Setup a second linksys router to work with the first – basic

The E3200 is supported by DD-WRT; it works, but it appears to be buggy. Broadcom and Cisco have refused to issue a driver for the 5GHz radio band (the buggers!). I have it up and running, but I just use it as a secondary access point in my home. I was using it as my primary router, but the WAN is strange; any time the router is switched on from a ‘cold’ boot, I have to reboot my router and cable modem. There are no issues with a quick router reboot. At the moment, it’s working well for getting a decent signal out into my garage and back yard ;)!
I recently discovered Tomato for my WRT-610N, and it is now my main router, replacing DD-WRT. Toastman’s builds are fantastic, particularly the working qos and bw limiter. The bandwidth graphs are fantastic, and it is extremely fast! After switching from stock firmware to DD-WRT, I thought it was easy, but DANG! 😀
Is it possible to adapt Tomato for the E3200? I’m seeing a lot of interest for the 2000/3000/4200… I don’t care if I’m still missing the 5GHZ band at this stage. I’m sticking with DD-WRT/Tomato on this router because of the faster, more robust G-Band!
