“Unit is used, unit is factory reset to Linksys firmware, unit can be flashed at your own risk with DDWRT or tomato firmware but we are not doing that, no returns will be accepted if you flash it, unit comes with AC Adapter and its original box with 1 Patch cable CAT5E.”
The issue is with stage number three. The server address, which is not in numeric form, is used to derive all of the other fields I blacked out. If the server name is entered, the DNS, Gateway, Subnet Mask, and IP address are all automatically generated.
This is not the case with DD-WRT on the E2500 router. My ISP told me that they only recommend Tenda and TP-link routers, which is a fancy way of saying that they can’t help me because this isn’t a question they get from Pakistani customers very much. I need assistance.
I’m at a loss as to how to approach this issue. Please assist. Is this an issue with Linksys, Broadcom, DD-WRT, or my ISP? Why can’t E2500, like TP-Link, get all the information it needs from the server name? What steps do I need to take to get my link up and running?

For initial flashing, Fractal ported an unofficial 23569 E2500v3 build, which can be found in this thread. Otherwise, simply follow the steps outlined above. After Fractal’s initial flash, several people have recorded success flashing K3X build 26947 mega. Although there is no official initial light, other builds may be updated (though this is not recommended):
With this install, you won’t be able to quickly revert to OEM firmware. Please follow the measures in this thread in the Broadcom forum with caution. These are dangerous commands that, if not used carefully or for a long enough period of time, can brick your router:
If you get a “upgrade failed” message despite following the instructions to the letter, make sure you’re not trying to flash v1/v2 firmware on a v3 router (or vice versa), and then switch browsers.
