Lastpass – master password recovery – sms
Free users can currently access their LastPass account on any platform, including mobile and desktop. Free users will only be able to access content on their mobile devices (including phones, smartwatches, and tablets) or their computers beginning March 16th, 2021. (including all browsers running on desktops and laptops). Free users will be able to choose between smartphone and computers on this date, with three chances to choose the active device form to see what works best for them. The following is how LastPass describes the changes: Email support will now be limited to Premium and Families customers as of May 17th, 2021. You don’t like it? You can either move your passwords to another service or tool, or pay $2.25 per month for LastPass Premium (billed annually). I’ve been a LastPass Premium customer for a long time and considering the service to be excellent.

Have you made the decision to abandon LastPass? It’s time to say your final goodbyes to your account by deleting it. LastPass’ servers will not retain any of your passwords as a result of this. This is how you can get rid of your LastPass account.
And if you’ve forgotten your master password, you can uninstall your LastPass account (as long as you have access to the email address you used to sign up with LastPass). We’ll concentrate on how to uninstall your LastPass account if you know the master password in this guide.
This process can be completed in just a few clicks. You will lose access to all information saved in your LastPass account until it is deleted. All of your usernames, passwords, autocomplete info, and unique identifiers will be permanently deleted.
Finally, you’ll be logged out of LastPass and told that your account has been permanently deleted by the website. There is no way to recover your passwords after this has been completed. To return to the LastPass home page, press the “OK” button.

Lastpass review: upcoming changes to free edition
Please accept my apologies for any misunderstanding this subject has created. I spoke with our development team, and it appears that in order to modify the LastPass account email address, you would need access to the initial account email address. In order to validate the email address change, you’ll need to try to re-create or restore access to the original email address, and I’ve requested that our website team update the help article for this phase to state that users will need access to their original account email as soon as possible.
If you can log in to your LastPass account, we suggest exporting your current Vault data, then creating a new LastPass account with an email address you can access and importing your Vault data. After that, you should disable the LastPass account for the old email that can no longer be reached.
I tried anything, but the dialog box for accepting a code never appeared. I assume the request for a code is being sent to the now-defunct email address. At the new email address, the only message I receive is a message verification.
