To use Amazon as an example, if you ask “How long does it take to steep tea?” it will tell you how long it takes to steep tea. Then Alexa will assume the latent target is to set a tea timer and answer with “Five minutes is a good place to start,” and “Would you like me to set a timer for five minutes?”

It’s a very good app that I would suggest to someone who is willing to pay money for it. The translator performs admirably and is extremely accurate. However, for those of us who don’t want to spend money on premium or whatever, it irritates us that we have to use the manual version of the app, which we can only use three times until it won’t let us translate something else and won’t let us proceed unless we buy premium. It’s a fun app, but it’s best for those willing to pay, not so much for those who don’t want to pay for a translator on a monthly basis.
For many years, I’ve been using the Scan and Translate app and find it extremely useful. However, with the recent update release, I was unable to update my old edition. I contacted Customer Service for help, and they absolutely blew me away! I’m not a newbie, and I’ve dealt with tech support for a long time, so I rarely offer five-star ratings. They went out of their way to handle me equally in my upward transfer to the new version, even though my old app couldn’t be updated. Allowing them to flee is not an option!
