All of the components are mounted as packages in the IDE. Build and compile a kit with your own components if you’ve written them yourself (see Creating and Editing Packages). The model mentioned in Overview of Component Creation must be followed in your component source code.
Depending on the project form, a new project is built with subsets of all installed packages. Open the Packages tab of the Project Options dialog box to see which packages are included in your project.
By default, the IDE loads design-time packages in the IDE in a smart (lazy) manner. The IDE does not load all installed packages right away when it begins. The IDE initially loads only the configured package components that are directly included in the project community. Packages that haven’t been loaded yet can be loaded automatically on request. When a programmer drags a component from the Tool Palette into the Form Designer, for example, the IDE loads the package in which the component is recorded. Smart loading is used to reduce the time it takes for the IDE to open and the amount of memory it requires.

Installer for Windows (previously known as Microsoft Installer, codename Darwin)
is a Microsoft Windows software component and application programming interface (API) for software installation, repair, and removal. Installation packages, loosely relational databases organized as COM Structured Storages and generally known as “MSI files” from their default filename extensions, package the installation details and, optionally, the files themselves. Windows Installer “Transformation Scripts” are contained in mst packages, “Merge Modules” are contained in msm packages, and “Patch Development Properties” are contained in pcp packages. [number six] Setup API’s ancestor, Windows Installer, has undergone major changes. A GUI system and the automated generation of the uninstallation sequence are among the new features. Windows Installer is intended to be a substitute for standalone executable installer frameworks like InstallShield and NSIS.

To complete an installation task using conventional installation technologies, you must exit an application and rerun setup. This sometimes happened when a consumer desired a function or product that had not been selected during the initial setup. This rendered device configuration inefficient since it allowed the consumer to predict the features they might need before using the product.
Users and applications may benefit from installation-on-demand features even if the files themselves aren’t accessible. Advertisement is the term for this definition. The Windows Installer can advertise functionality and allow for installation-on-demand of individual application features or entire items. When a user or an application triggers a promoted function or product, the installer installs the required components. This speeds up the configuration process by allowing you to access more features without having to exit and restart the process.

Tablet PCs are computers in the form of a notebook that receive input directly through the keyboard. You can manipulate Windows without a keyboard or mouse by using your finger, a stylus, or another gadget. Windows 7 and higher, unlike previous versions of the operating system, natively support tablet PCs and other devices with touch screens as an input device. A series of Tablet PC Components is included with Windows 7/8/10 to help you get the most out of your tablet computer. However, the Tablet PC Components are not pre-installed on all Windows computers.
