I’m done with Gamersgate. I attempted to preorder CKII, but I forgot my password due to a Moneybookers problem, and I am unable to purchase. This is absolutely absurd. I DO THIS EVERY TIME I PURCHASE A GAME.
AMAZON, take a look at this. I regularly purchase items worth hundreds of dollars from there. My credit card is remembered, and all I have to do is select what I want and enter my password. Isn’t it just that straightforward?
Now, could someone please tell me if this is also how Steam works? And I’m fed up with it. I just want to enter my credit card information and press the BUY button. That’s how it works, right? If that’s the case, I’m switching to Steam right now. Also, do I need to download something from Steam in order to download the game, or can I begin downloading right away?

You may want to uninstall your Steam account for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you’ve grown tired of your game collection and want to move on. Perhaps you’re simply attempting to delete accounts that contain your personal details. There is a way to uninstall your Steam account regardless of the circumstances. Bear in mind, however, that there’s no going back once you’ve deleted your Steam account. So, if you have any games that you bought during the life of your Steam account, you won’t be able to get them back. Any game that needs a Steam account to play — and that includes the vast majority of them — will be unplayable, even though you already have it loaded. All of the money in your Steam Wallet will be deleted as well, as it is non-transferable. Before you decide to uninstall your Steam account, think of all of your options.
4. Click “Submit Account Deletion Request” in the next window that appears. Fill in all of the necessary fields. This is so Valve can make sure you’re the rightful owner of the account and not a malicious hacker.
