How to make a minecraft server (utorrent

Hello, I’m trying to use my Netgear Nighthawk Router to forward the utorrent port. In order for me to do this, I’ll need to set up a static IP address in Windows 10’s network and sharing center. I’ve made sure that everything is configured in my router as well.
Now in the preferences of utorrent. I followed the setup instructions and ran the tests, but for some reason the server still times out while checking for bandwidth. I’m not sure why. If you have any thoughts as to why this is? however I get a green check on the open ports, which means the open ports are set in the router, regardless of whether I have automatic port forwarding activated or not. I continue to receive a green review.
Now, my question is whether I should also set the same static ip address in my router as I have in Windows Network and Sharing Center. And, if I had it set up in the router as well, would that boost efficiency while using torrents? Is this also why, when I search the bandwidth in utorrent, the server still times out and I get a red x?

Even so, this also doesn’t account for the bittorrent traffic. For background, I’m not on Verizon FIOS; instead, I’m on Fidelity Communications, a nearby ISP. When looking at the Verizon IP, you’ll find that it’s in a totally different state. I don’t run any servers, and I don’t torrent because I don’t want my family of six to be kicked off our ISP. Firefox doesn’t have native bittorrent support and, as far as I know, doesn’t use it for anything other than updates. I’ve never been on a website that uses peer-to-peer to submit content (and I’m pretty sure you can’t do that to begin with), so I have no idea what this is. To begin with, no one in my house can host minecraft or run torrents because I’m usually the only one who has a computer on all the time, and I’d see activity from theirs if they did.
It’s done it once again. I still haven’t used my VPN today, so it’s not that. It also has little to do with any of the games I play that use peer-to-peer connections, such as Destiny 2.

They’re both liars. Evolve is too complex, and it also opens 4394 windows for me. Tunngle gives me those dumb firewall and stuff errors, even though I have it set up correctly… thank you, but I’ll just wait for GameRanger, the only decent software I’m familiar with. Since the developers are no longer around, it would take 20 years for them to update it.
Thank you for leaving it here; it might work for some, but as you know, I’ve already tried to get Hamachi and other programs to work properly. I’m not going to try to set up OpenVPN. GameRanger, hopefully, will wake up.

Using TCP would have three major consequences: it would require players to open TCP ports as well as UDP ports in their firewalls and NAT servers, it would eliminate the option of using NAT punching with MP matching servers now or later, and it would cause issues with simultaneous downloads from multiple players.
