Galaxy s7 hands-on: it’s finally here!

The S8 is Samsung’s flagship phone for 2017, and it blends every high-end phone concept Samsung has ever had, as well as a handful of new ones. Samsung is throwing down the gauntlet with its extra-long curved display, iris scanner, and new voice assistant. It aspires to be a seductive, no-holds-barred beast. How well does it fulfill its promise? We find out by trial and error. Continue reading.
To begin with, this is a very attractive phone. With its curved glass, curved screen, metal frame, and polished lines, Samsung has largely carried over the luscious style from last year’s S7 edge. What’s fresh is that the sultry curved screen is now available even on the smaller standard edition. There is no “edge,” just a “+,” and the only difference is that the model is larger.
The computer is another thing that strikes you. It’s taller than you’re used to, much like the LG G6. This results in a screen that appears to be enormous (and it is), but is small enough to fit comfortably in either hand. The S8’s screen is 0.7″ wider (diagonally) than the S7’s, but the handset is 2mm narrower. Do you consider a phone with a 5.8-inch screen to be too wide for you? Reconsider your position. And looking at it makes the screen feel positively massive, in a way that images can’t quite capture. Despite this, the phone appears to be thin. Both sizes tend to be manageable. This screen form is the way things are going to be in the future.

Their voice would need to be similar to yours, but this raises a minor security concern. Send emails, set reminders, and have your messages read aloud to you, among other things. What would you do now that you’ve done that? Mentioned below are a few examples: The idea of a hands-free smartphone is no longer a fantasy. You can use the gadget without using your hands, except to keep it, thanks to the Android framework.

The Galaxy S7 is an evolution of the Galaxy S6, with improved hardware, design refinements, and the return of features that were removed from the Galaxy S6, such as IP certification for water and dust resistance and expandable storage via MicroSD card. The S7, which replaces the S6 and S6 Edge+, is available in two versions: a regular model with a 5.1-inch (130 mm) display and an Edge variant with a 5.5-inch (140 mm) display that is curved along the wide sides of the screen. The S7 Active has a heavier, more robust frame as well as a greater battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the last two phones in the Galaxy S series to feature a physical home button with a front-facing fingerprint sensor embedded in it. When not considering the prematurely retired Galaxy Note 7, the S7 Active is the last in the Active series to feature three physical buttons with the fingerprint reader embedded in the home button. It’s the last phone in the Galaxy S series to have a MicroUSB-B port, which has since been replaced by USB-C technology.
