Halo 5 – 100% mission intel locations guide – mission 1
So, lately, it’s been extremely difficult to find ranked matches in H5 in the wee hours of the night. It was so bad last night that a few players and I agreed to run an HCS format custom game series. I competed in two different best 3/5 series. Please talk about it if someone else has had trouble finding games late at night. I assume that Custom Games will be the future of 4v4 games like those found in Halo 5: Guardians’ rated slayer and arena.
I’m not sure how I feel about nighttime. I still find Slayer and Swat games while I’m playing during the day. There’s even a firefight and a warzone. I’m not sure if you have to chance a search choice in the settings, but that might be it.
The only games I can’t find matches for are Forerunner Slayer and other similar games. I’ve never had difficulty finding Warzone Firefight, SWAT, or Arena Slayer games. However, since I’m a fairly average player, I have a far greater pool of people to choose from than people who are exceptionally talented.

Yes, this is a pain, and I can’t seem to find a solution. -Yoink- particularly if you don’t have a fireteam started acting up like this for the last 3 days for me before that no problem at all… I think the problem is with 343 industries!

Petty Officer-in-Charge The Master Commander, also known as John-117, is a UNSC SPARTAN-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command. In both the Halo trilogy and the Reclaimer Saga, he is the protagonist and main character. He is one of the most decorated war veterans in the United Nations Space Command, having earned every UNSC award except the Prisoner of War Medallion during his thirty years of active duty service.
“They let me choose.” Isn’t there something I’ve told you before? I could choose any Spartan I wanted. You know who I am. I did my homework. I watched as you developed into the soldier we needed. You were strong, fast, and brave, just like the others. He is a born king. You, on the other hand, had something they didn’t. Except for me, no one else saw it. Can you make a guess? Good fortune. “Did I get it wrong?” — Cortana, a robotic assistant
John was born in 2511 and grew up in Elysium City on Eridanus II’s colony planet with his mother and father. He was a student at Elysium City Primary Education Facility No. 119. John had dark hair, freckles, and a slight gap between his front teeth when he was a child. John remembered that his mother “kind of smelled like soap” and had “wide eyes, a straight nose, and full lips” in a cryo-sleep dream aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. [nine]

Well, the same thing is happening to me, but it’s a lot less common, like 25% of the time I have the same problem as you… And I’m not sure how I’m going to get it fixed… I’m hoping they’ll take action as soon as possible…

Hopefully they will patch it and everything will be fine. I have this problem every other day or so, but a re-start of the build usually solves it.
Since they released that dumb arena req kit, I’ve been having the same problem. I was putting up with the problem because I figured, “Well, at least I can still play,” but now I can’t even download the latest update, so I can’t play at all. This is extremely aggravating; this is a problem that should have been fixed a week ago when that stupid arena req pack was published, because it seems to me that this is what caused the game to freak out in the first place.
I was having this problem even before the arena req package was released.
I forgot to mention a few more details:
I get stuck on the “Processing” screen with all button inputs disabled except Home if my req device fails right when I’m buying a pack (which seems to happen very frequently). I can only get out of it by closing and reloading Halo 5. (the reqs will still be broken). In addition, I opened all xbox live-related ports on my router (see list here: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/networking/network-ports-used-xbox-live). With the exception of port 3074, which I received a message for, all of these ports opened without issue “Other HS Port Forwarding services are in conflict. Please double-check the port and IP!” I have tried disconnecting all of my other devices from the network. And when the Xbox was the only computer on the network, the issue persisted. One of my attempted fixes was to open the ports before the issue began. Restarting doesn’t seem to help; instead, if I wait an hour or two and try again, it has a chance of working again. I’m hoping an admin finds this soon, because I have a feeling we’ll have to wait until the next patch… Don’t give up.
