Thank you for gif

When I tried to download a gif file from Giphy recently, I found that when I went directly to the file, https://media.giphy.com/media/14kdiJUblbWBXy/giphy.gif, it was simply loading a web page rather than the gif file.
You can now alternatively/right-click on the image and then click “Save Image” on this tab. However, this will save the picture as a.webp file. If you like, you can update the file extension to.gif from there. However, I’ll be honest and confess that I didn’t think about changing the extension at first. So I dug a little deeper.
I thought Giphy was probably detecting that based on who/where the request was coming from, so I used a cURL command to retrieve the gif file. This worked, but having to open a terminal window to run a cURL command is inconvenient.
A web page is loaded instead of the gif when we go to a regular Giphy source URL, such as https://media.giphy.com/media/14kdiJUblbWBXy/giphy.gif. To get the actual gif to load, all we have to do now is change media.giphy.com to i.giphy.com.

How to make animated gifs in photoshop | adobe creative

Consider GIFs to be a cross between photos and videos. The main benefit of using GIFs is that they allow you to quickly tell a story or illustrate a point. They’re also tiny files to load, which makes them suitable for phones.
Go to File > Stack > Load Files into Stack in Photoshop. Click Browse, then Shift-click on the full list to pick the images (“layers”) you want to use. In your GIF, each of these images will be one frame.
Next, specify how many frames Photoshop can import. To make a GIF, you don’t have to import every single frame. We just imported one out of every three frames and half of the video footage in this situation. Click OK when you’re done.
To see an example of how your GIF would look, click the triangular Play icon (shown in red below). Also, make sure Forever is selected in the left-hand drop-down menu (highlighted in yellow), otherwise your GIF can only loop a certain amount of times.
There are numerous options in this section. You can add text, stickers, filters, and even hand-drawn annotations to the GIF. I didn’t say anything because the image of a baby being slammed by a cat speaks for itself.

Finding the right GIF doesn’t have to be difficult; all you have to do is know where to look. To assist you, we’ve compiled a list of 10 fantastic websites that will help you quickly find what you’re looking for… without pressuring you to compromise your GIF standards.
This is where I go when I’m looking for GIFs.
GIPHY was created in February 2013 by Alex Chung and Jace Cooke as a GIF search engine.
They’ve greatly developed GIPHY since then by collaborating with brands, adding integrations, developing browser extensions, and much more. (Go to GIPHY Labs to keep up with all of their expansion efforts.)
What’s the best part? It’s a cinch to get around their GIF database: Users can browse by category (adjectives, music, nature, science, etc.) or use the search feature to find a particular word or expression.
While all of the various, unique choices make it simple to find what you’re searching for, all of these subreddits adhere to a set of guidelines to further refine their entries. Although the terms “reaction gifs” and “analogy gifs” can appear to be interchangeable, they are not. Enable me to show you…

Add an animated gif to a message in outlook

The GIF’s popularity shows no signs of waning, so why not use it in your email marketing? If your email open rates have dropped, a dose of today’s most digestible media may be just what you need to get them back on track.
In 1987, GIFs were developed as a better way to host static images online. The GIF was first able to support short animations in 1989, and it is now a universal way to interact in one concise animation almost anywhere on the internet.
Although the GIF has been present on the internet since its inception, you’ll be hard pressed to find a GIF fan who is aware of the format’s original intent. Today, the success of the GIF can be attributed to advances in mobile communication and software that make creating GIFs simpler than baking a bundt cake.
GIFs are a sincere reflection of each new day, filled with celebrities, news events, relevant nostalgia, and trendy phrases. Because of their strong links to pop culture, GIFs immediately make every piece of content relatable and appealing to readers.
