Galaxy note 2/3/4: black screen issue / wont turn on

My Note 3 was lowered from a height of around 3 feet above the ground. The phone now has a black, blank screen with no noticeable cracks. The phone, on the other hand, responds to calls, texts, and so on.
Unfortunately, the screen is most likely broken. It may have a very small crack on a corner, or it may need a microscope to see the crack at all. The screen will not show if the LCD is cracked.
It’s likely that one of the LCD connectors has come loose. That’s something you should look at first. If it isn’t that, you should connect it to another working Note 3 and test it to make sure it isn’t the digitizer (which is located directly underneath the screen). Another explanation is that the motherboard is malfunctioning. The motherboard is a little less expensive to replace, particularly if you can find one used. If you ever plan to purchase a new digitizer, you can expect to pay between $130 and $150 if you shop around. I will not be willing to pay $250!
A virus may be running in the background of your phone or an older version of your Samsung smartphone blacks out the screen to lower the cpu temperature and prolong the phone’s lifetime. This will raise the temperature of your CPU, potentially frying the machine.
