When you open the workbook, it will open in full screen mode. It’s exactly how I like it. However, when I close the workbook and open another, it always opens in full screen. That isn’t a concern for me, but I know a few people in my office who may find it bothersome. Is it possible to switch off full screen mode when a workbook is closed?
It had to be anything along those lines, I thought. I’ve copied your code and pasted it into a new sub in the ThisWorkbook module. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong, but when I close the workbook and switch off Excel completely, then restart it, it opens in full screen mode. Could you please tell me what I’m doing wrong?
I’ve never really experimented with full screen before, so I can’t tell for sure. One thing to double-check is that you’re putting the fullscreen code in the ThisWorkbook module for the specific workbook you’re working on, not the Personal. .xls
I believe I have it in the manner that you identify. It does not fit in my situation. But don’t waste your time. I’ve abandoned the plan; all I wanted to do was make it look nicer. However, it’s likely that it wouldn’t have worked with different screen resolutions, even in full screen mode. Thank you for taking an interest in my case.

Spotify recently added a feature that will send you a full-screen recommendation of a new album based on your listening tastes and human curation. Artists and their teams will now be able to pay to reach their fans using this same feature, essentially turning the suggestion into a full-screen ad.
Both Free and Premium subscribers can see these supported reviews, which are effectively commercials since they are purchased and paid for. As a result, Premium users will see full-screen advertising for the first time, but they will be customized to their personal music tastes to make the ads less intrusive to their overall enjoyment of the app.
After all, this was originally intended to be merely a useful recommendation feature, not an advertisement. Many users do not know the feature is now transactional because it is still highly customized — you’ll only hear from artists you regularly listen to or follow. And if they do, they may not give a damn.

Spotify has video series that we can view on our desktop or mobile devices in the Spotify client (but not through their web player, or at least not for Traffic Jams).

That’s fine, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to make the video on the monitor play in full screen. I tried hovering over the video, pressing the F key, and double-clicking on it, but none of these methods worked. Is there some form of magic hotkey that I need to press to get the video to play in full screen mode? Is it true that there isn’t a way to make the video full screen? 4 Upvoted commentssharesavehidereport4 commentssharesavehidereport67% This discussion has been closed. According to the website, Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar’s podcast, Zane and Heath: Unfiltered, is testing the feature globally. It will only be open to 50% of the show’s Spotify listeners and will only be available for the show’s three most recent episodes.
Even if listeners lock their phones, videos will automatically connect to the podcast’s audio feed and continue to play. The video will appear as a single, static screenshot while commercials are playing.
