E-ZPass is a toll collection system that uses electronic technology. A prepaid account is opened, and a small electronic device called a transponder is attached to the windshield or license plate. Tolls are automatically deducted from their pre-paid E-ZPass account when they pass through toll facilities.
Users who have not used their Flex transponder for HOV transactions on the 64, 66, 95, 395, or 495 Express Lanes for the previous twelve months may be asked to swap it for a regular transponder (at no cost). In addition, a Flex Transponder’s lost/stolen charge is $20.00 rather than $10.00.
Before driving on the High Occupancy Toll (HOT) or the 64, 66, 95, 395, and 495 Express Lanes, make sure your E-ZPass Flex is set to the correct mode for the number of occupants in your car. Set your E-ZPass Flex to HOV mode if your vehicle has the requisite number of passengers. If your E-ZPass Flex is set to HOV mode, you will not be paid a toll at these toll facilities. If your car has less than the maximum number of passengers, use the E-ZPass Flex’s toll-paying mode to get the toll automatically deducted from your account. The switch on the bottom of the E-ZPass Flex interface allows you to change modes. Depending on the number of people in your car, simply move the switch to “HOV ON” or toll-paying mode (covering “HOV ON”). When you change the setting to HOV ON mode, you can hear a beep. Before you get behind the wheel, double-check that your E-ZPass Flex is in the proper mode.

The state of Massachusetts has implemented an all-electronic tolling system. E-ZPass MA and Pay By Plate MA are included. On the Mass Turnpike (I-90), the Tobin Memorial Bridge, and the Sumner, Callahan, and Ted Williams Tunnels, the software operates without toll booths.
Math is different in the Fast Lane. Teachers choose assignments that are both stimulating and rigorous using a touch-screen instructional math resource for every 3–8 classroom. It’s a research-based instructional system that helps ALL students achieve success.

MassDOT, E-ZPass, or any other electronic toll-collection scheme are not affiliated with the app’s developers or Pragmistic. I swear I looked for an app earlier this year, and the result was a frown. I was on the website earlier today, and I’m not sure what prompted me to search the App Store, but I’m glad I did! This app (which is not affiliated with EZ Pass or MassDOT) has done an excellent job of organizing your details in a clean, easy-to-navigate format. Do you realize how much simpler it is to add or remove a vehicle (especially one that is rented) on the fly? This software not only allows you to review your account, but it also allows you to update any information that is reflected on your actual account. If you are unable to add or update information, you will be redirected to the website. The state should be aware of this app and make an investment in it! I’m just looking forward to it. TouchID? Maybe in a later release or revision… Thank you so much!
