Alternative brand lamps with an initial bulb in a compatible housing are known as Original Inside lamps. The output is comparable to that of an official component, but for projectors still under warranty, we suggest using an official (OEM) lamp; otherwise, your warranty can be voided.

Any delivery dates given are just estimates. We work with a variety of courier and delivery services, including Royal Mail, UPS, DHL, City Connection, and others. All packages must be signed for upon receipt for security reasons. If you will not be available to sign for your package during regular business hours, you can give us an alternate delivery address where someone will be available to sign for it.
Let’s start with the essentials. It has a brightness of 2500 Lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. As a result, it has enough projection power to display a large, bright image in a dimly lit space. The 455Wi-T embraces NTSC, PAL, and SECAM TV signals and can project in high-definition formats of 720p and 1080i. Its foreign capabilities are rounded out by its 100 to 240 V AC power supply.
This projector is mounted on the same wall that it is projecting onto. Just because it’s an ultra-short throw projector will it do so. Simply stated, an ultra-short throw projector will project a larger image at a closer distance from the screen than a traditional projector. In the case of the 455Wi-T, this means it can project a diagonally measured 96″ (2438.4mm) image from just two feet away. Consider the benefits of such a setup. Without casting a shadow on the frame, you can virtually stand right under the 455Wi-T. You won’t have to squint because the projector’s spotlight is shining in your eyes.

Whatever else the Epson BrightLink 455Wi ($2,200 street) has going for it, it serves as a reminder of how easily things can change. Last year, I wrote a review of the Epson BrightLink 450Wi ($2,200 street, 4.5 stars), which was unique in that it combined interactivity with an ultra short throw—the ability to display a large picture from just a few inches away. Editors’ Choice was aided by the mix. Today, competing ultra short throw interactive versions, such as the Dell S500wi ($1,599 direct, 4.0 stars), placed the 455Wi up against stiffer competition than the 450Wi, making it less impressive.

The following is a large, completely interactive projection: Create a 97-inch picture that is completely interactive all the way to the corners. The digital pen can be used to save notes or additions, giving you full control over the projection area. The ultra-short-throw architecture achieves a 70-inch projected image from just 16cm, allowing you to annotate without casting a shadow.
