Enterprise vault reporting

Solidworks enterprise pdm – advanced reporting tool

Most of the time, I see people reusing backupscripts that they previously developed for another client. Many people are unaware that there is a powershell script in Enterprise Vault’s installation directory that will perform the task for you.
A script called Transform-Backup.ps1 can be found in the Templates directory of the Enterprise Vault installation directory (in my case E:Program Files (x86)Enterprise VaultReportsTemplates).
Before running the script, make sure the server’s ExecutionPolicy has been changed to allow it to run. I renamed mine “RemoteSigned.” The following is the concept of RemoteSigned: “Before being run, downloaded scripts must be signed by a reputable publisher.”
“PS E:Program Files (x86)Enterprise VaultReportsTemplates>.Transform-Backup.ps1′′ is the script to run. A webbrowser will open after the command has been executed, with a collection of scripts that can be used to construct the necessary pré- and post-scripts.
This page contains PowerShell cmdlets that you can use to set and clear backup mode in your environment. Your backup methods will determine which commands you use. These commands use the raw data from your Corporate Vault directory database.

Enterprise vault: mailbox archiving report

The latest Enterprise Vault release includes new features that further solidify the company’s leadership role in on-premises archiving and broaden the hybrid-archiving narrative (archive on premises but leverage cloud storage where possible). The new version also boosts Enterprise Vault users’ ability to scale 0365 archiving.
Office 365 Journal material that has been encrypted with AIP services can now be decrypted. After that, the encrypted objects can be fully indexed and searched and previewed. You can sort objects based on their encryption status in Compliance and Discovery Accelerator, export the items, and then decrypt them with EmlDecryptor.exe, a new utility.
The Site Properties dialog box now has a new RMS tab, which allows you to enable RMS decryption. The Intranet URL, Extranet URL, Tenant ID, Symmetric Key, and Application Principal ID can all be listed on this tab so that the Enterprise Vault server can authenticate with the Azure Information Protection (AIP) services.

This may not be a concern for certain reasons, such as Background Job Id, but the report will help you decide if your access control setup is complete and whether you have accounted for all factors.
Instances where a factor identity cannot be resolved and allocated may be audited (such as No data found or Too many rows). A rule set that assigns an identity to a factor at run time may be associated with it. You may configure a factor to audit the rule set processing results while configuring it.
This report shows all of the object access granted to PUBLIC by the database accounts you specify on the Report Parameters page. You can filter the results based on the privilege, the object owner, or the object name on the Reports parameters tab.
This report will assist you in developing a security strategy for current applications based on the concept of least privilege. If a database object, such as a UTL FILE package, has privileges given to PUBLIC or another global function, you can use the Object Dependencies Report to find out which accounts are dependent on the object and how they use it. To run the report, go to the Report Parameters page and enter the database account you’re looking for dependence on, as well as the object it may be dependent on.
