How to mute @everyone on discord – disable @everyone

Discord is perfect for catching up with friends in like-minded group servers, but not every message you send would be appropriate for everyone. Fortunately, spoiler tags may be used to conceal such messages at first.
Type “/spoiler” at the beginning of a text message to add a spoiler suffix. In a Discord server, sending the command “/spoiler this is a spoiler message” will conceal the message before the recipients want to view it.
Spoiler tags may also be added to photographs or other attachments sent to a Discord server. For this type of content, the methods above may not function, but you can label files and images as spoilers before uploading them.

How to create a hidden message in discord 2019!!!! new

Competing with your mates in CS:GO or Apex Legends is more enjoyable if everyone uses the same instant messaging platform. Having a forum to mess around on, talk in general, and stream gameplay for friends is an important part of the game for many people. If you’re a big fan of video games, you’ve definitely used Discord, which has become the go-to chat platform for gamers over the years. Some games and gaming sites have their own Discord servers where players can find teammates, communicate with tech help, or simply talk.
Scammers, spammers, and trolls, as you would expect, are attracted to broad groups almost as often as people who share a common interest. And if you don’t take care of your privacy and security settings before you start playing or talking on Discord, they can spoil the fun. Here’s how to properly set up the messaging service.
First and foremost, let’s talk about account protection. Set a new password if you have an easy one — ideally one that is really long (not sure how?). Numbers, a combination of capital and lowercase letters, and special characters all aid, but the most important factor is length.

Hide discord sidebar

I’m curious if there’s an easy way to hide all of the commands for a Discord bot in the Discord channel? People could still type commands in the text chat to instruct the bot, but the commands’ actual text would be hidden after they were posted, similar to an auto-hide function. It’s true that this would not be possible, and that’s fine. The bot’s answers can be seen clearly, but the commands themselves are hidden.
Hey, in order to “cover” a command-containing message, it must first be removed. The deleteMessage() feature in the discord.io library allows you to delete a user’s message before or after the bot handles the order.
If the discord.io library does not need a message I.D. to be passed through the feature, this method should work. Since the discord.io library hasn’t been updated in over two years, it’s been archived, and there’s no longer any relevant documentation.
Thank you again for your assistance, man. Could you please copy and paste this snippet into my template from our previous thread so that I can save it in my file for a good upload? If the commands were auto-deleted before the bot response was sent, this would be extremely helpful. If you could add the snippet into my template, I’d be happy to send you another “solved” mark on this.

How to create private discord text & voice channels

To make a private channel, simply enable the “Private Channel” option when creating a channel and select the groups to whom you want to grant access. Check out our incorporating roles guide if you’re not sure how to do it.
Next, go to the “Permissions” tab and toggle the options to the red “X” to disable all “Read Messages” and “Send Messages” messages for @everyone. You’ll need to disable “View Channel” instead for speech. The steps for text channels as shown below:
That’s all there is to it after you’ve completed the preceding steps! You now have a private channel that can only be accessed by the position or member you choose. Simply repeat the above steps to grant access to additional roles/server members.
