A toll-free phone number, also known as a freephone number, is one that is charged for all incoming calls rather than the originating telephone subscriber. A call from a landline to a toll-free number is free for the calling party.
A dialing prefix close to a local area code, such as 909, identifies a toll-free, Freecall, Freephone, 0120, 800, 0800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, 833, or 1800 number (the area code that covers eastern Los Angeles County and southwestern San Bernardino County). The phone numbers for specific services differ by region.
Previously, a call billed to the called party had to be put as a collect call by a telephone company operator. Before manually completing the call, the operator had to ensure that the charges were accepted at the remote number.
The Zenith number, which was introduced in the 1950s in the United States and Canada, as well as the original manual ‘Freephone’ service introduced by the British Post Office in 1960, are examples of operator-assisted toll-free calling.
Go to “My Account” and then to the “EasyCall” section after logging in. Select “+Add Phone Number,” enter a phone number to be used as a PIN Free number, and then click “Add.” PIN Free List will include the phone number. If you call this number from now on, you will not be required to enter a PIN.
You can still use EASYcall PIN if your phone is set to block caller ID. However, the PIN-free feature might not work. Before dialing the destination number, our device will prompt you to enter a PIN number.
Simply log in to your account, pick “My Account,” and then “EasyCall.” To recharge your EasyCall card, choose “Manual Recharge.” You can recharge using “Manual Recharge” by selecting the amount you want to recharge and clicking “Add to Cart.” Then complete your order by following the “Checkout” process. Your PIN will be credited directly after you have completed the recharge process.
We reset your expiration date to the full validity period of the card every time you reload. The EASYcall card is valid for 6 months and can be renewed for another 6 months after a new recharge.
