Since ES2015 is the generator’s default option, you can use it to create Chrome extensions right now. However, since ES2015 does not yet have complete functionality on Chrome, you will need to use the gulp babel task to compile, evaluate, and run your extension.

This was due to the fact that I was saving my access token in localStorage, and all of the pages were password-protected. Since the crawler was unable to reach the token, it was unable to crawl through the remaining pages. This was resolved by storing the token in the redux inventory. In order for the crawler to have access to it as well.

Random data generator, chrome extension – demo
The npm package Chrome Extension Generator by yeoman can be used to quickly scaffold out a Chrome extension. I’ve been tinkering with a few chrome plugins for the past year, and I finally published one to display download counts on GitHub. I highly recommend this generator because it includes everything you need out of the box, as well as simple permissions, action setup, and auto-rebuild and reload into Chrome for testing.
You can now create your extension in the app folder and load it as an unpacked chrome extension from this directory. Gulp watch will keep track of your changes, restore your files, and even reload the extension in Chrome! (This is a fantastic function that eliminates a lot of tab flipping and button clicking.)
