Avast bank mode
You’ve double-checked that the bankmode extension is turned on. In my case, after upgrading to the latest version and finding that bankmode was not working, I checked that the extension was disabled, then enabled it again, and everything worked perfectly. Greetings!
Hi there, I’ve tried everything suggested here, but it’s still not working for me. I can get into Bank mode, but when I try to access my internet banking, I get the following message: This website is unavailable. The relation has been reestablished. Consider the following: Examining the relationship Examining the proxy server and firewall Running Network Diagnostics in Windows ERR CONNECTION RESET is an error code that indicates that a connection has been reset.

It sounds more like a networking problem than an inability to open Bank Mode, which is the focus here. It appears that you are able to enter Bank Mode. Thank you. I just tried this and it didn’t work. It’s strange because I can access the Natwest website without issue while in Bank Mode; it’s only when I press the ‘logon’ button that I get this error message. Is it possible that getting Windows Defender / Firewall switched on has anything to do with it?

How to prevent avast from blocking a program
Avast Antivirus is a well-known and common antivirus on the market. It also comes with the best features and options for securing any device. If you want to learn more about it, however, you can read the Avast Antivirus Review.
Avast has released its safe browser in response to rising demand, which includes a slew of useful features. If you’re interested in learning more about this, read the Avast Secure Browser Review.
Above all, Avast Secure browser’s Bank Mode is the best choice for securing and saving your bank data. Avast has provided you with the most powerful feature for securing your bank credentials and bank information from cybercriminals. We’ll go over everything you need to know about Avast Bank Mode in this post.
Avast Bank Mode is an Avast Secure browser feature that allows you to securely access your bank account. When it came to combining their antivirus software with web browsers, Avast took an unusual approach. Users can be difficult to persuade that Avast browser extensions are useful to them and should be enabled in their chosen browser. As a result, Avast decided to create their own browser, dubbed Avast Secure Browser. Their products send a simple message: abandon your current browser in favor of Avast Secure Browser (or AVG Secure Browser as it is known by AVG users), which is superior in every way.
Avast Secure Browser is based on Chromium, and its most distinguishing feature is the large number of built-in browser extensions that are seldom available in the list of installed extensions (meaning that they cannot be disabled by regular means). AVG Secure Browser has eight custom plugins, while Avast Secure Browser has eleven. Putting eleven questionable-quality extensions into your “stable” browser might not be the best idea. Today, we’ll take a look at the awesome Video Downloader extension, which effectively allowed any website to take control of the browser (CVE-2019-18893). It then used a separate weakness to take control of your machine as well (CVE-2019-18894). The first issue was fixed in Video Downloader 1.5, which was published in October of this year. At the time of publication, the second question was still unresolved. (Updated on January 13, 2020): Avast told me that the second issue was fixed in a recent update, and I can confirm that the application version is no longer vulnerable as a result of the update.
