How to turn off notification on avg threat secured “smb:cve
I keep having a “Malware Blocked” or “avast!” popup. Webshield has identified and blocked a potentially dangerous webpage or URL. The warning provides a URL address, and clicking “display info” brings me to a website where I can update my avast antivirus, which also provides a somewhat confusing url. This popup has been extremely irritating and will continue to do so when I’m surfing. I’ve been using Malwarebytes anti-malware but haven’t been able to remove them. It’s really aggravating. Could you please assist me with this issue?

According to Avast, the app is used by more than 400 million people around the world. It also ranks among the best free security software solutions available to PC and Mac owners, according to Consumer Reports testers. Avast’s AVG-branded software is in the same boat.
In July 2019, the company began testing a prompt during all new installs of its desktop antivirus program that specifically asked users if they wanted to opt-in to such data-sharing. The prompt is now being rolled out to all registered antivirus users.
According to Avast’s website, most of the company’s products capture anonymous user data, which is then used to develop the products and assist the company in responding quickly to security threats.
It can make you feel uneasy to have your search history and internet browsing habits recorded and sold, but antivirus software may help keep malware out of your computer and protect you from ransomware, phishing attacks, and other threats.

It does it sometimes right away, and sometimes it takes a while. A Severe Threat Has Been Identified; Overrun with The message ‘Threat has been identified’ appears. When your machine has been infected with malware or malicious programs, the message ‘Threat has been detected’ can appear.
It’s a very awkward alert. When Avast informed me that I had hackers hacking my computer, I did what any sane person would do and tried to stop them. So I pressed the green button on the pop-up, only to discover that it took me to a subscription tab, encouraging me to pay for the issue to be resolved.
Instead of the familiar “ding,” all notification sounds will be replaced with the familiar “ding.” I recently installed Avast as my anti-virus, and for the past 2 hours, every 2 seconds, a voice says “threat has been identified,” and a pop-up says “the threat was detected and blocked when the file was generated or updated.”
So, before I smash my machine with a sledge hammer, could someone please tell me why this is happening?
Avast! Detected a Threat! Scan, Log Displays Virus-free Uncheck the Enable Avast sounds box in Settings>General>Sounds. Uncheck the Use voiceovers sounds settings if you have a custom sound pack enabled. Select the updates you want to turn off: Avast has six “events” that are correlated with alerts. Your speakers will be deafeningly quiet if you don’t have the right audio driver built. It’s time to upgrade your sound drivers if you’re having audio problems, such as crackling music or games with missing sound effects, or if your Windows machine is silent.
