Gregory Todd is a character in the film Gregory Todd I’m using Windows 10 and am having the same issue as the original poster. My scan progresses to “Sensitive papers,” then slows to 91 percent, eventually increasing to 95 percent, where it stalls.

I’d like to add my voice to this discussion. The never-ending 99 percent scan for confidential documents is causing me the same problems. I’ve even left it running overnight, but it never finishes. This role took minutes to complete in the previous version. Before the most recent update, I had never had any issues. I’ll follow the instructions in this thread and, if that doesn’t work, I’ll contact help directly.

My weekly scan has a minor issue. It appears to be at a standstill at 98 percent. It will not pause or stop, and I am unable to terminate the operation. As far as I can tell, no CPU is being used. Version of the running software is 11.1.2245, and the visrus definition versions are undisclosed. My operating system is Windows XP with Service Pack 3. Thank you for any assistance or suggestions. Also, all of the shields are disabled and will not turn on.
Thank you. Rednose, rednose, rednose I rebooted because the add/remove programs wouldn’t create the list. The scan began at 98 percent as soon as it came back up, and it still won’t let you pause or stop it. The list is still not being developed by the add/remove programs.
Thank you, Asyn; that did the trick.
However, I had to download the setup exe 5 times because it kept failing at different points.
All is working well now, thanks a lot!
On a side note, I’m curious why, after reinstalling, it still remembered my exclusions… I’m not sure how it might remember those because I uninstalled all… I’m guessing they’re saved somewhere else…

22nd of March, 2021 He had been sold by his master because he was no longer competitive, but he could still drive well enough for the lane. Tiro would have died for his mistress, who had bought him and given him a lovely slave girl as a wife. Are you crazy to come calling when the emperor hasn’t even left the country? His fingertips softly caressed her cheekbones as he gazed down at her, and then his mouth descended to touch her ready lips. Her heart thudded violently inside her chest, threatening to break through her skin, she was certain. He kissed her gently at first, then demanded submission, complete surrender of her, as his mouth became more confident of ownership.
Even the free edition of Avast antivirus (Free Antivirus, Pro Antivirus, Internet Security, Premier) has a great feature that can check for viruses and malware on your machine before it even boots up. It’s called a Boot-Time Scan, and the steps to do it in the new 2018 version are below. Even with the most recent Windows 10 release, it works flawlessly. CyberCapture – in the cloud, analyze a suspicious file and submit cures to all Avast users. Check and block suspicious behavior of unknown threats with Behaviour Shield. Smart Scan identifies and removes suspicious add-ons and obsolete apps. Ransomware Shield – prevents ransomware and other programs from altering your files. Arms of the Pathfinder
How to uninstall avast antivirus completely – the best way
I have Internet Security installed. A complete scan is scheduled for me once a week. When it reaches 99 percent, a window appears with the words “scan cancelled.” When I select data, a new Smart Scan is launched. The full scan was performed successfully, according to the history. How do I know if the full scan is effective? This has occurred in the last four scans.
INDEPENDENT support (chat for Windows, Windows applications, and many other things) – online scanners (URL/File/Java/others) – simply state the problem/ask your question in the channel and wait.

How do I know if the full scan is effective? This has occurred in the last four scans. As previously mentioned, there is a known bug (GUI) that needs to be fixed; however, the scan should/does complete; simply search the Scan History to see if the scan entry is present.
