That’s right. The absence of law, on the other hand, prohibits the shield from doing something. The method itself is efficient. As a result, I would not advise turning it off. Simply leave it activated, and as soon as Alwil detects the need to apply 64bit rules, it will be available and ready to use with a standard VPS update.

Only my two cents, but you’d think that disabling a shield permanently (not for 10 minutes, etc..) will prevent it from affecting the status bar…
Regardless of temporary or permanent disabled shields, what is seen or warned by the status bar or icon is set in Settings > Status bar.
