Thanks for the links; I’ve already gone through the first one but haven’t been able to find a solution.
I’ve even rebooted and reset the modem to factory settings a couple of times.
This may seem like a stupid question, but shouldn’t the username in the advanced setup be [email protected]?
Isn’t [email protected] the right address? Also, I assume the password is the same as the one I use to access my Bigpond account? I’m also contacting ASUS to see if the issue is related to their hardware.
I’m not familiar with that modem, but if the setup asks for your login information, it’ll be your full username and password for that address. Give ASUS a call; they might be able to help you out.
Greetings, ian66. When I was setting up this router for the first time, I had the same problem. Are you aware of the firmware version you’re using? The reason I ask is that this Asus model does not fit with many Australian ISPs out of the box. Before it starts running, you’ll need to upgrade to the most recent firmware. The router worked perfectly after I modified the firmware. Greetings
