Safe digital communications are important for associations, companies, and government agencies to protect privacy and sensitive data. Network encryption is used in this situation. It is fully open to end users, which means that the data is encrypted only during transmission and is not encrypted for the sender or receiver.
Rohde & Schwarz (Rohde & Schwarz) is a When the sensitive data is transmitted through a computer network, cybersecurity guarantees that it is encrypted end-to-end. To that end, we employ modern cryptography at various points in the network to provide you with reliable security against sophisticated attack methods. Data leaks are no longer a problem for you thanks to network encryption.
The benefits of digitalization and network connectivity are followed by cybersecurity problems in data communication and production processes. Because of the increased number of attack vectors, increased networking and the increasing sharing of data through networks makes them appealing to attackers. As a result, cybersecurity and network security are a top concern for businesses, governments, and critical infrastructure operators (e.g. in the energy or health sector).

This glossary contains terms, phrases, and abbreviations used by DG CONNECT on this website and elsewhere. It represents the scope of our work, which covers a number of science, technical, policy, and regulatory areas.
The unified European emergency number, which can be dialed free of charge anywhere in the European Union in the event of an emergency (EU). Any EU citizen should be able to contact emergency services by dialing 112, either from a landline or a cell phone. For business or pleasure, European people are increasingly traveling to other countries. There was a need for a single number that people could recall even under duress in an emergency situation around the EU. People no longer need to recall several numbers in various countries; instead, they only need one number to travel in the EU. Despite the fact that 112 has been operating for a number of years, its presence needs to be better publicized. Since current technical possibilities allow for more precise caller position for 112, Member States should adopt it for the benefit of people.

Signal is managed and run by Signal Messenger LLC, a dedicated team of developers assisted by donations to the Signal Technology Foundation, as well as a wide group of volunteer Open Source contributors. This project’s source code and files are all freely available on GitHub, where everyone can participate and contribute.
The Signal group is working together to advance the state of the art in safe communication while making it simple to use for all. We want to make mass surveillance of private messaging a thing of the past, and one of the best ways to do that is for Signal (or anything similar to Signal) to become as ubiquitous as other messaging apps.
