100 mbps router

Your wifi n isn’t 150mbps only 72mbps!? here is solution

You may be searching for the right router for your Spectrum Internet Plan of 100Mbps or 200Mbps. If you’ve just signed up for Charter Internet Service, you’re probably aware that the modem doesn’t come with free Wi-Fi. Instead, they want you to rent it and pay extra money for it, which would end up costing you more than the system itself.
Renting a computer from a service provider, in my opinion, is a poor idea. It is preferable to purchase your own Wi-Fi router and save money. The issue is that not all modems and wireless routers are Spectrum compliant.

Although the SBG6400 is capable of 100Mbps connections, it uses outdated Wireless-N technology. As a result, we suggest the Dual-Band Arris SBG6700-AC Wi-Fi combo modem, which provides faster and more stable wireless internet.

Ethernet speed capped at 100mbps fixed to 1gbps – cable

I signed up for a new 100Mbps Internet connection only to discover that my WiFi system is insufficient to fully use it. TP-Link MR3220 V1 is the WiFi router in question. V1 does not have its own page on the website, but there is a datasheet available here.
Using a CAT6 cable, I can link my PC directly to the ISP’s fiber router and get speeds of 102-105Mbps. I use a TP-Link TL-WN781ND Wireless Adapter because the PC isn’t near to the router.
With my previous 8Mbps ADSL link, this worked perfectly. However, even when I position the WiFi router and PC next to each other (just to measure speeds), the link does not exceed 60Mbps. If I switch the PC to where it is normally located, the speed drops to 20Mbps.

What DHCP server are you using? It would be fine to connect the modem to the switch and PC. However, once the router or other devices are connected to the switch, you’ll need something to assign IP addresses and perform NAT.

My internet speed is 300mbps when I connect my router directly to the modem (without a switch in the middle). I assume the issue is with communication between my switch and router; do I need to configure something to get this to function properly?

The fiber link offers ultrafast speeds (see our latest subscription options). There might be an issue with your local network if your downstream bandwidth is limited to 100 Mbps. Here are a couple of the most famous criminals.
Ensure that the ethernet cable connecting your Fiber NT to your router can handle speeds of up to 1 Gbps. Cat5 cables have a maximum data rate of 100 Mbps and should be replaced. Cat5e cable, which is an upgrade from Cat5, can support a 1 Gigabit network, but Cat6 cable is the best—and most forward-thinking—option.
The FRITZ!Box 7490 is fitted with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and completely runs on a fiber network. All you have to do now is make sure the ports are set to Power Mode rather than Green Mode, which decreases power consumption and limits transmission speeds to 100 Mbps.
Go to the web interface of your FRITZ!Box using your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.). It should be available at http://fritz.box or http://192.168.178.1 by default. If prompted, log into the system, then go to Home Network and select Home Network Overview from the drop-down menu:
